Prof. Dr. Bora Farsak
1966 yılında Ankara da doğdum. İlk-orta-lise eğitimimi TED Ankara lisesinde tamamladım. Daha sonra 1983 yılında Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesini kazandım. 1989 yılında mezun oldum ve Tıp Doktoru ünvanını aldım. Sonrasında mecburi hizmetimi Tedaviler Yozgat Boğazlayan'da tamamladım.
1991-1997 yılları arasında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Kalp ve Damar Cerrahisinde uzmanlık eğitimimi tamamladım. 2004 yılında Doçent, 2011 yılında Profesör oldum. Daha sonra yurt dışında birçok merkezde çalışarak bilimsel araştırmalarda ve yabancı dergilerde yer aldım. 2007 yılında İstanbul’a taşındım. Önce Bağcılar Eğitim Araştırma Hastanesi'nin kuruluşunda görev aldım, ardından Yeditepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesindeki görevime başladım. Haziran 2017'de Yeditepe Üniversitesi' ndeki görevimden ayrılarak her zaman tutkum olan Damar ve Varis Cerrahisine yoğunlaşabilmek için serbest çalışmaya başladım. O günden beri sizlere sağlıklı ve ağrısız bir yaşam sunmak için ben ve ekibim var gücümüzle çalışmaktayız.

Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT) consists of a power source and a fiberoptic catheter that will transmit the energy from this power source into the vessel to be intervened under ultrasound guidance.

Since 1989, I’ve physically touched thousands of hearts, and I’ve been trying to touch your hearts and give emotional happiness since 2017. If we think about modern medicine in the 21st century, my colleagues have been specialized in separate organs and even its smaller parts. This is also true for cardio vascular surgery and especially for its sub specializations such as vascular and venous surgery just like what I do now. Since 2017, I’m specializing and focusing on dealing with varicose veins and its surgical procedures. I’m trying to keep myself up to date by following and attending all the seminars and congresses local and international so that I can give you the best service and experience as possible.
